Prayer for the Holy Land Pilgrimage (Please pray daily)

Loving Father, in the sacred company of Jesus, Mary and Joseph, we humbly ask to make this Pilgrimage for your honor and glory.

Let these holy days bring your blessings upon our Pope, our clergy and religious and on our families and ourselves.

Through these days let us grow in love for your Trinitarian life in us... through the Sacra-ments, especially the Eucharist and Reconciliation, Scriptures, Praying the Scriptures of the “Rosary and Way of the Cross”, the new “Mysteries of Light and Their Parallel Sacraments: and loving service to the whole church.

Let us know your love. Touch our hearts. Fill us with a desire to pray. Gift us with your Holy Spirit of strength and light.

Thank you for the Church, her Scripture and Sacraments. Thank you for the Spirit, His gifts and consolations.

May we not forget them. May they grow more important to us every day.

This stone block fell from the parapet at the southwestern corner of the Temple Mount to the street below. It’s inscriptionsays “the place of trumpeting...” It indicates that a preist would stand and signal the beginning and end of the Sabbath.

Acts 1:8 “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes down on you”... then you are to be my witnesses in your families and parishes and during the Pilgrimages to the Holy Land.
