PicoPublish has experienced an enormous success with the Perfion PIM software system that makes it easy to keep track of all kinds of product data and product information. In 2012 the small company was named “Perfion Partner Of The Year” for selling the largest number of Perfion licences.

The Danish software company PicoPublish has specialized in the software system Perfion – a Danish Product Information Management PIM solution used by various kinds of companies to store and update all their product information in one single place. The system makes it possible to handle and maintain product data concerning e.g. component items in an extremely easy and effective way and reuse the data for all marketing channels in a global environment.

The first six months I sold absolutely NOTHING Per Groth, owner of PicoPublish, has nothing against telling his story honestly and bluntly:

It was a dismissal in 2009 that made him launch into IT entrepreneurship. And when starting self-employment with PicoPublish, he learned immediately that it was a really difficult time to establish a new business.

“Anyone could see that Perfion is an extremely smart and profitable PIM solution, also in 2009. But there was no money to invest at that time. After the first six month I had sold absolutely NOTHING”, tells Per Groth. “I was just sitting at my desk at home with the dog as my only companion. Fortunately, my wife and I had made the agreement that I should run the company for at least a year to begin with.”

Today, well-known companies are among the customers Since the beginning in 2009, Per Groth and PicoPublish have got a really good grip of things. In four years he has grown his business from nothing to becoming a great success with plenty of Perfion implementations.

Today, large and well-known Danish companies such as HTH (kitchens), Rynkeby (juices), Sanistål (steel wholesale) and Fredericia Furniture are among the customers, and the number of Perfion implementations is constantly increasing.

After only four years, PicoPublish employs six staff plus Per Groth.

Nobia Group - an agreement with great potential An example of a company profiting immensely from the Perfion PIM system is the Danish kitchen manufacturer HTH. The agreement concerning HTH is just one example explaining why Per Groth looks into the future with confidence:

“HTH is owned by the Swedish Nobia Group, and the order for a Perfion solution for HTH was made at Group level. The Nobia Group owns 21 kitchen companies all over the world and therefore we see great potential in the agreement”.

Perfion fits all industry branches The power of Perfion is that it fits all kinds of industry branches with their various kinds of product information and different publication channels (catalogs, pricelists, data sheets, supplier portals, websites, e-commerce, social media, newsletters, etc.).

“And now is the time to go full speed ahead. At any time, we at PicoPublish must be the ones to answer the question: How can we serve our customers even better than today?

PicoPublish’s turnover has quadrupled since 2011, and our goal for 2013 is to grow another 100%”, Per Groth finishes.
