STUDENT NOTES/PAYMENTS This week we have experienced our first serious
issues with the new online payment system. Not so much by those using the system or the system itself but rather because of our practices around using it. Due to the
delay it takes payments to get to us, we have to put very strict closing dates on excursion and other paid programs. Please note that the office will no longer accept
payments and permission notes after the specified due date. Online payments made after the due date will also be refunded. We must confirm numbers (and sometimes payment in advance) with venues, ensure we have adequate seating on buses, and
provide supervision and work for those students not participating. We cannot do that efficiently if we are still receiving notes and payments close to the event. You may
think it is just your child so we should fit them in but in reality it is a large number of students returning notes late every time. Please understand that we do not want
students to miss out but as parents it is your responsibility to read newsletters (which are sent home and posted online every Thursday) and contact the school if you require further information. All notes sent home during the week are listed on the
newsletter as are important dates for your information. Notes relating to whole school or specific classes are also posted on our website. We understand that parents are
very busy. We are parents too! We suggest you make a routine of checking the newsletter each Thursday to ensure your child doesn’t miss out on educational and fun events. We apologise if this offends anyone but we hope that as a school
community we can work together to ensure the best educational outcomes for our students. If you cannot pay on time due to financial reasons please contact the office
to discuss this.
If you pay online it will be considered that you are giving your child permission to attend however we would still like a paper permission note at least while everyone gets used to this system. Should the money be paid on line through a parent’s
account and the child forgets or looses the note, that is when we can still allow the child to attend and accept the note late. (In the case of split parenting roles if you
have any concerns that this will not work for your situation could you please discuss,
with one of the office ladies, the best solution for your family.)
McHAPPY DAY OUT OF UNIFORM FUNDRAISER is TOMORROW. Students are
asked to donate a gold coin and come out of uniform. Please remember that
students will still need to wear a hat, covered in shoes and appropriate sun safe clothing (i.e no singlet tops). YEAR 3 –6 SWIMMING starts TOMORROW. Students are reminded to bring their
swimmers, towel, sun protection and a plastic bag for wet items. As tomorrow is out of uniform day, please ensure your child’s clothing is labelled with their name. Students not attending swimming will participate in organised sport at school.
YEAR 2 SWIMMING SCHEME notes have been sent home this week with all Year 2
students. This swimming scheme is organised by the Department of Education and Communities and will run each day from Monday, 10th November to Friday, 21st
November. The cost is $60 per student and is limited to 60 places on a first in basis. Please contact the office or go to the website if you require another note. TROPHIES from last year’s presentation day are to be returned to the office as soon
as possible to allow time for engraving etc. Thank you.
Have a successful week, Narelle and Staff.

magazine will include photos and information from events throughout the year, reports from our school leaders plus articles from each class.
This magazine will be professionally published and will be full of memories for students and parents to look back on each year. It will also be a great way for
relatives to see what your children have done throughout the year.
Don’t miss out on your chance for this memorabilia. A limited number of magazines will be ordered.
The School Magazine / Year Book will cost $25 and we ask that order forms
and payment are returned to the school office by Wednesday, 5th November,
