Most people travelling to Peterhof want to seethe fountains - main information about the LowerPark with fountains is given on Page 2. All 150 fountains of the Lower park are on everydayfrom April 28th till October 14th, 2018 (P. 2)

Before entering the Lower park have a look at theUpper Garden. You'll be amazed by the oldestfountain as well as the stunning view of the Grandpalace. The entrance to the Garden is always free.

There's a gorgeous Italian-style Kolonistsky Parkwith Islands opposite to the Upper Garden justacross the Avenue (P.6)

15 minutes walk from the Lower park is a formerprivate emperor's estate of Alexandria (P.5) and ifyou head towards the city of Lomonosov after 30minutes ride you'll enjoy the splendor of the18thcentury palace & park ensemble calledOranienbaum (PP.7-8).

The fastest way to get to Peterhof is by hydrofoil,that crosses the Gulf of Finland from the Hernitageat the Palace Embankment to Peterhof Pier in halfan hour. The hydrofoil companies are notassotiated with Peterhof State Museum-Reserveand do not sell tickets to its facilities.

The most picturesque way to Peterhof is by train,It takes 36 minutes to get from the Baltic RailwayStation to the "New Peterhof" Station. City buses № 344, 348, 350, 351, 352 or 355 will bring youfrom the station to the Upper Garden in 15minutes.

A common way to get to Peterhof is to take aminibus № 224, 300 or 424 from "Avtovo" metrostation. When there's no traffic they'll take you tothe main entrance at the Upper Garden in 30-40minutes.

Fountains of the Lower park & the Upper garden areon everyday since April 28th till October 14th.

The Gala launch of the Grand cascade and theSamson fountain is held every morning at 11 a.m.

Fountains of the Upper garden are in progressfrom 10 a.m. till 6 p.m. on weekdays and Saturdayand from 10 a.m. till 7 p.m. on Sunday & holidays. Fountains of the eastern part of the Lower Parkare in progress from 10 a.m, till 6 p.m. on weekdaysand Saturday and till 7 p.m. on Sunday and nationalholidays. Fountains of the central & western partsof the Lower Park are in progress from 11 a.m. till 6p.m. on weekdays and Saturday and till 7 p.m. onSunday and national holidays.

On Saturday fountains of the Grand Cascade, theSamson, Roman fountains, Chessboard Cascade,and trick fountains of the Lower Park are inprogress till 20:45.
