I nvesting in real estate in Malta has tradi-tionally produced a very attractive returnfor investors, one that is considerably bet-ter than that provided by most financialproducts over the years. The ‘Buy To Let’business of residential homes can be a

great way for an investor to establish a steadymonthly cash flow, and long term appreciation ofsuch properties has also been known to often gowell beyond reasonable expectations. With the Maltese having a very strong property

owning culture and Malta becoming increasinglyenticing to foreign investors, particularly sincejoining the EU in 2004 and the Euro zone in 2008,coupled with the fact that the stock of good prop-erty and land mass is limited, the economic trendhas continued to favour property being a solid longterm investment. Before embarking on such a residential proper-

ty ‘Buy To Let’ business venture, prospective pur-chasers need to be guided by responsible realestate professionals on how to locate the rightproperty in an appreciating and highly soughtafter area and how to create solid deals consistingof long term beneficial relationships with depend-able tenants for rental purposes which is whereour experienced sales consultants come in.
