We would like to thank ALL of the moms, dads, uncles, aunts, grandparents and Community Partners that came to the Perkins on Community Day of Scholars. It was GREAT to see so many happy faces. HOOT! HOOT! to ALL of the classrooms that participated in the dance performance at the Tierney Center. We gave out hundreds of awards and we hope you Save the Date for our Final Community Day of Scholars on Friday, June 19th 2015.

Spring Fever @ MJP! J We are incredibly excited to welcome Spring to Boston!!!! Now that we are starting to experience the warmth of the sun, we will shift back to start of school routines and expectations.

We are excited to welcome students into our doors at 8:15 a.m. each day. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide supervision of any students who arrive before this time and students will not be allowed into the building before that time unless there is inclement weather. Students and their parents/guardians are welcomed to enjoy our courtyard. We are planning great spring activities, which may take us off campus to enjoy walking& biking around the perimeter of our school, to the Tierney Learning Center, South Boston Grows Community Garden, to Carson Beach, and to Moakley Park & Field. We are attaching field trip forms that will cover our Spring events with this newsletter that is being sent out today. Students must fully participate in the uniform policy and follow school-wide academic and behavioral expectations to engage and enjoy these activities.
