Peppers Ranch Teen Board 2012Molly Remondino had a dream to spread awareness about the number of child in the Oklahoma foster care system. Molly was also determined to show teenagers within her school that no matter what your age, you have the ability to make a dierence. From that humble dream, she developed the Peppers Ranch Teen Board. The Peppers Ranch Teen Board is primarily made up of students from Heritage Hall High School in the Oklahoma City and Edmond area. The board comes together to shine the spotlight on the Peppers Ranch community by creating service projects designed to spend time with the children as well as fundraising eorts to give money and support to the development of the community. The Teen Board will evolve into representation from multiple high schools within our community working together for this noble cause and will eventually involve an interview selection process.

Some of the events for Peppers Ranch TeenBoard include:

Birthday Buddies ClubSpring Flower Planting on the RanchSongs & S’mores (bon re)Karaoke NightPeppers Ranch Pals (summer)A Lake Lover’s Experience Horse Sense (horse program volunteers)

The Sound of Music: Music is not just about pitch or tone. Music education is a part of growth on so many levels. In fact; did you know that children exposed to music education score higher in areas of math and reading? Peppers Unplugged exposes our children to an array of instruments and music styles. This hands-on event allows children to touch and play instruments they have never seen or heard of.

Recognizing and Thanking

YOUIts more than a holiday, a birthday or a special occasion. It’s the time when a child’s world is falling apart, and there is a family which they can turn to. When they have no clothes, no food, no shelter and no love, your gift is what keeps them

believing. It’s because of your generosity that these children have Peppers Ranch. For all you have done and all that you will do for our community, thank you. You are the glimmer of hope that gives these children the gift of a better

tomorrow and the promise of successful futures. These are just a few of the faces of the lives you have changed.
