Proceeds of the festival have been used for: unique classroom learning opportunities special equipment for arts classroom use

P.E.F has been able to offer nearly100 arts grants over the past 11years in upwards of $140,000

They have been awarded to visual and performing arts teachers district wide

• Spring of 2012- Entered discussions with the City about moving the festival to a downtown location.

• Multiple meetings about available resources hurdles, and desired outcomes.

• July of 2012- Finalized the partnership and finalized a date.

• Peoria Unified committee of arts educators assembled to view the location and facilities.

• Utilize public facilities that accentuate student performances • The location heightened the concept of community connectedness• Ability for us to offer activities for children in dance, visual art and music.

• Attracted well over 11,000 visitors

• 500 participants in arts workshops and activities
