Dear Supporters,

You are invited to join us on September 29, 2018 for Rotary’s Amazing Race being organized by the Rotary Club of Coquitlam Sunrise.

Rotary’s Amazing Race is a competition for a team of 4 around the Tri-Cities. Can your team be the first team to complete all of the

challenges and be named the winner of Rotary’s Amazing Race? There is only space for 40 teams of 4 people per team. So register early

to ensure your spot. Cost per team of Team of 4 is $199.00 per team

While we are focused on creating a fun community event that provides some education about what Rotary does in our communities, this

is also a fundraiser with proceeds be directed to help support the youth in our community.

One of the projects this race will help support is a recently developed Backpack Program designed to support children with proper food

and nutrition on the weekend during the school year. The Rotary Club of Coquitlam Sunrise funded a pilot project at a local elementary

school whereby identified children were provided a backpack with food items each Friday to help their families through the weekend. The

aim is run the Backpack Program for the full year in 2018-2019.

The participants competing in this race each will participate in up to 40 different events over the day and will receive: Refreshments at

Registration, Lunch during the race, A wind-up Dinner and a chance to win prizes and other giveaways.
