Hospital Ministers visit once a week or every other week. Please join us in this valuable ministry. The Hospital's “Volunteer Training” session of about an hour is on June 26 in their auditorium. If you want to explore this option, you could visit with a current Hospital Minister first. We are organized into small teams for each day of the week. After training, you visit patients in one area of the Hospital on a particular day. Call Mary Green, coordinator, 703-850-0971 cell, or 703-534-2166 [email protected]. See link below and Contact Tom Howard, Business Manager 703-528-6276, or [email protected] for more details http://www.legacy.vg/arlingtondiocese/articles/17.html A note from your ushers: Periodically, the ushers will be posting some suggestions and requests in the weekly bulletin. Please take the time to read these and take their suggestions to heart. In this way we as a parish can work together to better enjoy and celebrate Mass: Help welcome your neighbor Finding available seating can sometimes be a challenge for ushers. We are recommending that if you arrive early and are seated in the set middle pews, please move towards the center, either left or right, depending on which side you are seated. In this way the ushers can seat people by using the side aisles so we can fill up the pews and not disturb the Mass.

Help St Ann Support Refugee Families St. Ann is launching an effort as part of our outreach ministry to help refugee families. Our efforts are being done in conjunction with the Migration Refugee Support (MRS) office of Catholic Charities. MRS, with U.S. State Department guidance, helps over 80 refugee families resettle into the Northern Virginia area each year. MRS has asked St Ann to be part of their network of charitable organizations that help refugees make a smooth transition to life in the US. In response, we would like to collect kitchen items to outfit the kitchens for at least five refugee families (see listing of needed items below). To help organize donations, we have set up a signup site, please go to www.signupgenius.com/go/20F044BA5AC22A75-migration. Cash or check donations are also gratefully accepted.
