Trinity Episcopal Church on Capitol Square

October 16, 2011

Therefore, since we are surrounded

by so great a cloud of witnesses,

let us also lay aside every weight

and the sin that clings so closely,

and let us run with perseverance

the race that is set before us,

looking to Jesus the pioneer

and perfecter of our faith,

who for the sake of the joy

that was set before him

endured the cross,

disregarding its shame,

and has taken his seat

at the right hand

of the throne of

God.

Hebrews 12:1-2

The BREAD organization will hold a house meeting in Trinity’s Parish Library on Monday, October 24th at 7:00 p.m. The goal is to identify a social justice issue to address this year and we need your thoughts. What local problem bothers you the most? In recent years we've taken on payday lending, school truancy, and neighborhood blight. Please join us for a discussion. If you can't make it to the meeting but have some ideas, please email them to Jim Zafris at [email protected]. We look forward to seeing you.
