PennAccess: Hecht Tennis Center

Entrance Information: 3130 Walnut Street . Philadelphia . PA . 19104 1. The main entrance faces Penn Park and is accessible from the center of campus via the Paley

Bridge and a circuitous route through Penn Park. There is a bell located outside the door. This is the only entrance to the building.

2. It is possible to reach the entrance grade level of Hecht Tennis Center from Walnut Street by using the 3101 Walnut Street elevator, down to ground level and following the walk south. You will be required to pass through the parking lot under the Walnut Street Bridge and at times, share the driveway with vehicles.

Note: To reach the Hecht Tennis Center by automobile, head east on Chestnut Street. Turn right

onto 31st Street and go one block. At the intersection, turn right onto Jones Way and then left into the driveway at the Class of 1923 Rink. See also: PennAccess: Goldie Paley Memorial Bridge

Elevator Information: • There are no elevators in the building. The majority of the building is on the ground level. There

is an observation deck/vending area that can only be accessed by stairs. Accessible Restrooms: • Ground floor - Locker rooms - men's and women's. The lockers are accessible. Building Information: •
