Sean will be in town to discuss his experiences trading crude oil on the New York Mercantile Exchange. November/December Weather Presentation. Dr. George Young of the meteorology department will give a talk covering statistical weather prediction, and weather risk influencing commodity markets. December Alumni Reunion. PSEMA is inviting its founding members back to Penn State. Our former members are eager to return to PSEMA with advice to facilitate future successes with both PSEMA and our own personal career goals. Spring 2017 Drake Well Tour with Society of Petroleum Engineers. PSEMA will be visiting Pennsylvania’s oldest oil well and birthplace of the modern oil and gas industry in a joint event with Penn State SPE. End-of-Year Awards Banquet.
