Over the pastthree years, Joe has taken on the Rotary at Work initiative onbehalf of Community Living Ontario and is working with a num-ber of Rotary clubs and individual Rotarians interested in help-ing people who have a dtsabuttv get into the workforce. Joelives in Whitby with his wife Teresa and has two sons - Dariusand Matthew.

    Mark Wafer is the owner of 6 Tim Hortons franchises in Scar-borough. During his 17 years in business he has helped over 80people who have a disability get into the workforce and cur-rently has 34 employees who have a disability in his six stores.In 2010, Mark and his wife Valarie were presented with the Ca-nadian Manufacturers and Exporters Innovator of the Yearaward for their initiatives to promote the inclusion of peoplewho have a disability in the workplace. Mark lives in Ashburnwith his wife Valarie and has 2 daughters Meghan and Colleen.

    Both Joe and Mark are members of the Rotary Club of Whitbyand received their Paul Harris Fellowships in 2009 due to theirefforts with Rotary at Work. Most recently Mark and Joe re-ceived the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Award for their efforts withRotary at Work.
