silverish transversal bands on posterior parts ofeach tergite. Each lays 53-60 eggs on the

growing point in the morning• Life cycle 47-73 days, eggs small, elongated pale

white, incubation 5-7 days.• Larvae inside galls, white, 3 instars last 20-30 days,

last instar 3,7 mm long and 2.3 mm wide. Pupae 15-25 days, 4.1 mm long and 2.0 mm wide. The adultslive 5-11 days, mate 8.00-11.00 am, lay eggs 9.30 am-14.00 pm.
