Constructon of an underground pped overlow nk between the two watercourses at Brock Street n

order to mprove the baance of lows n the Codbrook Cuvert and Od Codbrook watercourse and

reduce lows whch coud cause loodng form the cuvert n Codbrook Road East.

Remova and repacement of a prvate access footbrdge at Bron Y Nant to ncrease capacty for

low wthn the Od Codbrook watercourse.

Constructon of a new overlow cuvert and assocated net and outet structures and screens at

Brookied Avenue to convey greater lows to Channes Grt n lood and reduce rsk of loodng to

propertes on Meadow Vae upstream of the cuvert.

Constructon of a new ow eve cuvert and assocated net and outet structures at Meadow Vae to

aow the exstng cuvert at Brookied Avenue upstream (whch s currenty set ower) to freey dran.

Improve the conveyance capacty of the exstng Channes Grt branch cuvert n the rear garden

of 7 Soent Road by the remova of a 1100mm dameter cuvert whch s restrctng lood lows and

repacement wth a 3600mm wde x 1800mm hgh box cuvert and new chamber, n order to reduce

rsk of lood waters overtoppng the Codbrook Road East cuvert headwa.

Improve the conveyance capacty of the Codbrook cuvert n the ower reaches of Codbrook Road

East by the nstaaton of an addtona cuvert beneath Langands and Soent Road, re-jonng the

Codbrook cuvert at a pont where t has greater capacty, n order to reduce rsk of loodng from the

Codbrook Cuvert n Codbrook Road East.

The Vae of Gamorgan consder that the new and amended proposed mprovement works sted above

are not key to have a sgnicant effect on the envronment and as such t s not ntended to prepare an

Envronmenta Statement n respect of the proposed mprovement works.
