Peer feedback The contents page is successful as it is following the typical conventions such as the split page between images and page. The image, fonts and colours are typical of the genre and so work well on the page. It applies to the rule of thirds and the layout is appropriate to the genre. The numbers contrast with the background and are easy to see. The front cover is also effective and it portrays the Hip Hop genre very well. The fonts and colours are kept consistent throughout and the layout also applies to the rule of thirds

To improve your front cover you could add some detail in small font under the title of the features to give the reader more information as this is typical of magazines. In addition you could also add the issue of the magazine somewhere next to title so the reader know what issue it is. Furthermore, you can address the artist more by adding a short phrase next to him which could highlight his status in the genre such as “King of Rap”.

To improve your contents page you could add the issue of the magazine as I think this is important for the reader to know this. Another thing you could do is add the title of your magazine to the contents as well because it looks a little bit plain
