frequency/voltage which applies full digital control PWM inverter controlling the width

of pulse in the high speed RISC CPU, is available to ensure the stable output voltage and

frequency in the weak circumstance comparing to the analog PWM generation system and

    possible to have memory.

It has no concern with 50Hz/60Hz input frequency and enables a user to set up each

parameter with the functions of external sensor input control, synchronous signal outputfor running, one touch memory, soft start/stop, on/off timer and others. Thus, it is easy

to apply to various feeders and possible to get any operation liked with external

instrument. It is also available for a feeder having heavy worker load or high frequencyprecision to get constant amplitude control operation through feedback by using an

    electronic vibrating sensor (option).

3.1 Standard operationIt is recommended to follow the following sequence when it operates without using a

    feedback sensor.

Press the run key after adjusting frequency to the maximum and voltage to the middle

while the power is switched on.

Find out the resonance frequency which has the biggest vibration by adjusting

frequency If there is no feedback during operation, deviate that from the resonance

point slightly because the change of vibration is sensitive due to the external

    influence at the resonance point.

Adjust the amplitude of vibration by adjusting voltage

Find out the optimum point by repeating the above (2) and (3).

It is convenient to use the V/F FINE VR when the fine adjustment of frequency or

    voltage is required.

It is convenient to memorize by using the memory keys (M1, M2) if necessary.

Change the parameter if necessary (refer to the set-up of parameter).

Press the stop key when the operation is complete.

    The method of frequency adjustment

. The frequency indication/set-up mode is activated when the V/F (SET) key is pressed

at the voltage indication/set-up mode, or the parameter set-up mode is released.

. The 7-segments are indicated as "Fxxx.x" at the frequency indication/set-up mode.

. Adjust the frequency by using the up/down ( / ) key, but the V/F FINE VR is

recommended for precise adjustment around the resonance frequency.

. If any key or VR is not handled for a certain time, the VR is locked and the "VRLCK"

    dot LED is turned on.

. The VR lock is automatically released if any key is handled.

    The method of voltage adjustment

. The voltage indication/set-up mode is activated when the V/V (SET) key is pressed at

    the frequency indication/set-up mode.

. The 7-segments are indicated as "Fxxx.x" at the voltage indication/set-up mode.

    The method of key memory(frequency/voltage/parameter)

. Press the memory key ([M1]/[M2]) that a user wants to memorize until it beeps with the

7-segments flickered. Then, the present frequency, voltage and parameter are memorized.

The method of running with the memorized values of key (frequency/voltage/parameter)

. Press and release the memory key ([M1]/[M2]) that a user wants to read, then, the

frequency/voltage/parameter which have been memorized in the key are converted to

    the present running values.

    7

3.2 Constant amplitude control operationThe control operation using a vibrating sensor follows the following sequence.

Tighten a vibrating sensor to the parts feeder, and switch the power on after

connecting the connector of vibrating sensor to the [FB] port within the product.

Press the [para] key at several times to indicate "Fb-xx", and press [] or []

key to indicate "Fb-on". Then, press the [set] key. When the "FBK" lamp flickers,

    the function of feedback pauses.

If necessary, press the [para] key again to indicate "Fbxxx", and press up the

[set] key after setting up the period of feedback.

Press the [stop] key to return to the frequency indicating mode.

Press the [run] key after setting up frequency and voltage properly.

Adjust the resonance point and the optimized running vibration by setting

    frequency and voltage.

Press the [FBK] key for a long time at the state of running until it beeps to

activate the function of feedback which has paused for a moment (The "FBK" lamp

    changes form flickering to lighting.

If necessary, write to the memory key(M1/M2).

    (Cautions)

1.The memory key, voltage & frequency adjusting key and VR are not activated during

feedback.2. When the amplitude of vibration is set up again, it is necessary to adjust

voltage and frequency after pausing the function of feedback ("FBK" lamp flickers)

and reactivate the feedback by pressing the [FBK] key at the state of running.3. When the [FBK] key is long pressed until it beeps, the constant amplitude running

(FBK lamp lights) and its pause (FBK lamp flickers) repeat.

For general information of other operations, refer to the standard operation.

    3. 3 Run/ stop cont rol by the exte rnal inpu t EXS: PLCIt is possible to control run/stop by using an external signal such as PLC except

[run]/[stop] key of the OP panel. It is also possible to input the dry contact such as

switch, relay contact and others and wet contact, open collector such as sensor output.

The run/stop control by an external input follows the following sequence.

Connect the external input controller to the [EXS] ports in the side and the inside

of the product. (refer to "the connection of external sensor" of "installation")

Press the [para] key at several times to indicate "ES-xx", and press [] or []

key to adjust the logical polarity of the connected input instrument. Then, press

the [set] key. (refer to [the set-up of parameter]).

Activate the control by using an external input.

(Note) It is available to use the function of [run]/[stop] key of OP panel when the

control is activated by an external input.

    9/15

    8

    3. 4 Temp orar y run/ stop cont rol by the Sens or inpu tSENS: over-flow

It is available to stop the operation temporary by an external sensor signal such as

over-flow at the state of "run".

It is all possible to input the dry contacts such as switch and relay contact and wet

contact, open collector such as sensor output.

Besides, it enables a user to set up the delay time during running and stop directly

with "on delay timer" and "off delay timer. Therefore, it is easy to perform a fine

    control for over-flow and others.

The temporary run/stop control by an external input follows the following sequence.

Connect the external input controller to the [EXS] ports in the side and the inside

of the product. (refer to "the connection of external sensor" of "installation")

Set up parameters of logical polarity of sensor input, on delay timer and off delay

timer values. (refer to [the set-up of parameter]). Activate the control by using an external input at the state of "run" The run dot

LED flickers during pause by a sensor

(Cautions) The function of "run"/"stop" by the OP panel or external input run/stop

controls takes precedence of this function, that is, this function meansthe operation at the state of "run".
