Lights at the Met

An Opportunity.Practically everyone loves Christmas and theholiday season. It's a time to share happinessand good times with our loved ones and friends. One of the most enjoyable experiences during theholiday season, is looking at the beautiful lightsand displays. Many families load up their carsand travel through the neighborhoods, trying tofind the most entertaining yard. Lights at the Metwill be the destination for people to experienceincredible, synchronized Christmas light shows. In doing so, we'll create life-long memories.

People of all ages will marvel at the sheer size of the 5 acre light show and its tens of thousands of lights. The lights will sparkle and dance to the rhythm of popular Christmas and holiday music. A programmedcomputer will flash and dim every light in perfect synchronization - to the accuracy of a 1/10th of a second!

What would a Christmas event be without Santa? In addition to the lightshow, Lights at the Metwill have Santa in his SantaLand. Families willbe invited to walk among the light displays to reach Santa at his cottage. Not only will children get to speak with Santa, but can have theirpictures taken too. SantaLand at the Met may prove to be themost popular destination this season!

The Transformation.Turning Hoover RV Park into a Lighted Wonderland. The Hoover RV Park (at the Met) for a light show? It's a perfect facility to host such an event. Abundantelectricity is spread uniformly throughoutthe 11 acre park. Lights and displays can be easily placedanywhere, without the use of long and potentially dangerous extension cords.

Many of the 71 concrete islands will provide power and bases for the custom-built light displays.Prefabricated light trees, light candy canes and other displays will be secured to the concrete posts onthe islands. This will allow 10 and 20 foot light trees to be installed quickly, securely and safely. Pleasesee pictures, illustrations and the event layout on the following page.
