2016-17 - SAP HCM System changes and

enhancements New reports:

Display Online W2’s - PC00_M10_ONW2;

Display ESS Remuneration Statements - ZSSHE_PAYSLIP16;

Display ESS Working time - ZCATS_DA

ESS - Benefits - Added Beneficiaries for Voluntary Insurance Plans.

PA/Benefits – “Revamped” LOA Action reason codes and created Leave of Absence (LOA) Audit Reports.

SAP – Implemented HANA “in memory” database which improved processing speed and will allow us to continue to enhance the system in the future.

Interfaces – Created new Inbound/Outbound file option for Millersville time clocks (Dining Services/Facilities). Could be used for other Universities in the future as needed.

Benefits – ACA – Developed and tested the system to meet the new requirements for the 2016 - 2017 reporting year.

Benefits – PEBTF – required new plans to be configured and a new interface developed for 2017.

All HR - Faculty strike planning, subsequent SAP development of special reports and mass system processing in October 2016.

NWIDM – Added end dating of SU01 at employee separation.

ESS – Account Alerts – improved the functionality of the screen and created a custom report that captures all changes to Bank account information through ESS for central auditing.

Planned future enhancements Org Publisher – Implement the new HTML5 version that improves

useability for multiple browsers and eliminates the need for the “plug

in”. DEMO

ESS -Add new screen for displaying the data saved for each employee

in the Qualifications Infotype (IT24) – Pending

ESS – Further enhancements to the Account Alerts screen/process.

SAP Personas screen design functionality – See page 7 for more

information.

ESS/MSS – SAP Fiori – See page 8 for more information.

HR Renewal – new Processes and Forms functionality – See page 9 for

more information.

Payroll – Implement new Payroll Control Center functionality (Note: This

would mostly only impact the Central Payroll office).

Benefits interfaces – Continue to work with the PEBTF to reduce or

eliminate paper form requirements (i.e. PEBTF 2)

SAP – New features – SAP Personas 3.0

In SAP Screen Personas, a flavor is a specific personalization of an SAP

transaction. A flavor is built on one SAP transaction, but any particular

transaction may have multiple flavors. Personalization of screens within a

transaction in a flavor can include a variety of changes, including simple

adjustments like hiding unused screen elements, changing text labels and

colors, or repositioning elements on the screen. More advanced

personalizations can also be performed involving additional script processing

and merging data from multiple screens into one.

SAP HCM – New features – SAP Fiori

SAP Fiori is a collection of apps that represents the new SAP user

experience paradigm. It offers various business roles a simple, easy-to-use

experience for SAP software functions, and works seamlessly on desktop,

tablet, or smartphone.
