Bashar started his career with Aramex in 1993 in the

accounting team, later becoming Financial Controller, Group

Financial Controller, and finally his current position of

Chief Financial Officer.

He was a member of the team that oversaw Aramex’s public

offering into the NASDAQ stock exchange and later on the Dubai

Financial Market (DFM). He is also an active member of the

company’s Global Management Team and has extensive knowledge

of financial practices and in-depth understanding of current

and future market trends.

Bashar holds a degree in Accounting from Yarmouk University,

subsequently completed the CPA examination process and a

number of executive development and management programs

namely from the Business School of Wharton University in

Pennsylvania, USA.
