PITTI CASTINGS As a part of our growth plan we have set up a World Class, Eco-Friendly, State-of-the-art Foundry, with a team of qualified technical professionals, manufactures High Quality Castings in Ductile Iron, Grey Iron and Plain Carbon Steel & Stainless Steel from the weight range of 100 Kgs to 3000 Kgs.

FOUNDRY The foundry division has the total area of 32 acres land with Integrated facilities of No-bake line process, Hand Moulding, Induction Melting, Fettling , Finishing, Quality and Testing . We can supply the castings in Raw, Proof or Fully Machined Condition including Painting. We have expertise in making sub zero temperature Ductile Iron grade castings such as GGG 40.3/EN JS 1025 for wind mill application.

DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT

CASTING SOUNDNESS- Equipped with MAGMA

Solidification Simulation Software to predict the

soundness of the casting before producing.

PATTERN MANUFACTURING - Having dedicated

Suppliers across Pune, Coimbatore & Bangalore.

SAMPLE LEAD TIME- From 6 to 12 weeks after

receipt of pattern based on the intricacy of

Casting.


MOULDING Furan based No-Bake Moulding line supported by IMF Machineries (Italy).

State - of- the – art completely automated, PLC based Furan Fast Loop Moulding System

Mould -Sand Mixture Capacity for Iron– 50 MT / Hour and for Steel 30 MT / Hour.

Core -Sand Mixture Capacity for Iron– 8 MT / Hour and for Steel 6 MT / Hour.

Capable of Producing mould size 1.6x1.4x1.1 mtrs. , @ 10 Moulds / Hr


MOULDING

Infra-red drying oven is used to dry the mould

after stripping.

The infra – red radiation is produced by special

short wave infra-red (SWIR) emitters.

Mold Closing using specially designed Manipulator

with Micro Speed control for precision in closing.

Painting station consists of a Guide handler manipulator

that picks up the flask/ mould from the belt conveyor,

lifts, rotates, moves it sideways to present in front of

the operator.


CORE PRODUCTION Simplified high speed single arm Continuous

mixer, for Sand production of 8 tons/hour

chemically bonded sand. Sand feeding system for

two different types of inlet sand according to the

following combinations.

100% New sand, 100% Reclaimed sand & Blend

of new and reclaimed sand. Electronic control

system to preset 3 different pump speeds for

different combinations of sand and binders. The

system is complete with digital display .

• Fettling tools include, Swing Frame Grinders, Angle Grinders,

The machining division of Pitti Group was established in Jan 2008, with a view to cater to the ever expanding

market for the machined castings for Engineering Industry in India and Abroad.

The machining section consists of Conventional and CNC Machines such as VTL, HBM, VMC, HMC and

Hi-tech 3D CMM for measuring the Machined Castings and Toolings.

Environment Management System (EMS) Foundry is approved by Pollution Control Board of Andra Pradesh.

• Rain water harvesting – All the rain water falling within the premises is collected in a

tank and overflow is fed into recharge pits to improve the ground water levels.

• Recycling of domestic / sewage water – All domestic / sewage water is treated,

filtered and used for gardening.

•Dust & fume extraction system – Pollution control equipments as per the statutory

requirements have been installed.

• Green belt – Organization is very conscious of the Environment and planned the

greenery around the factory which is supported from the above recycled / rain harvested

water.

• Thermal Reclamation: Ultra modern Thermal Reclamation plant installed by IMF, Italy

which help foundry by supplying 98% reclaimed sand by reducing sand wastage.
