PCM BX06 INSTALLATION MANUAL

. Cabinet fixation

Before the installation, take down the four wheels from the equipment bottom. The cabinet

will be located according to the design drawing. Mark the connection holes for the cabinet (four

holes). Then move away the cabinet. nd !se percussion drill to drill holes according to themeasurement of e"pansion bolts. you need to clean the dust inside the holes using a vacuum

cleaner. #trike directly on the e"pansion tube with a rubber hammer until it is completely inserted

into the ground. $ut the cabinets to the designed position. $ut washers and tighten the bolt. %hen

the cabinet is fi"ed, it should be stable and its vertical deviation shall not be larger than &mm..(if

installing 'abinet on the #*$reventive +loor, there must be bracket.)

There are two groups of eight Dumper blocks in the top right corner of the

emu" board. The upper eight Dumper blocks is for cell(equipment) address.

The values of the eight Dumper blocks are 32, 0-, &2, 30, , -, 2, 3 from the

top down after their short*circuiting. The summation of the eight Dumper

blocksE value is the value of cell address.

Connect the ")er cabe

5ay the cable on demand of the subscribers.

Mark the beginning and the end of the cable before laying to avoid confusion.

The cable mustnEt be left parallel with the power line by all means when laying. 7esort

to protective sleeves when the cable going through walls. Take care not to destroy the

dressing of cable in the process of laying. 7emain a little at the distribution frame and

the cabinet.

'able, which needs to be mounted onto the distribution frame should be locked onto the

distribution frame according to their spectrum. The impending wire pair of each cable

neednEt to be tied to the distribution frame so as not to invite confusion (eg. the

blue8white pair of the first 1 channel subscriber cable). Take care about that every path

of the pair should be tied together and its distribution frame should be well marked

very user cable consists of si"teen audio cables. ach cable provides eight voice

channels. The audio cable is made up of two &=*line cables arranged in color spectrum

order. $lug the user line into the corresponding sockets on the back board.

$lug in #!B5:?8T5:?; for phone service. $lug in 2%8-% for 28- line audio service.

The audio cable marked with -%7 stands for +our 5ine 7eception whose output line is

connected with the reception port of the user equipment. The audio cable marked with

2%n-%T stands for two line audio output or +our 5ine Transmission whose output

%ith a piece of binding wire, bind the coa"ial cable, power line, fle"ible cable and so on

to inactive frame of the chassis and the cabinet. :tEs better to lay the power line and the

fle"ible cable into the groove. Note+ the fexibe cabe i) fra,ie- han(e the! with

care. on/t fa)ten it too ti,ht% when fixin, the fexibe cabe.

ll the cable should be either horiFontal or vertical, and should be fastened and fi"ed

tightly with nylon grip or gummed tape. 5ines should be parallel, no crossover or knot

permitted. t the turning points, it should trace a right angle (
