Make sure the terminator resistor is plugged into the last connector if the PCD is the last one in the chain of PCDs.
To connect PCD to a series of PCDs, plug in the 3-core interlinking cable, and connect to the next PCD in the chain. alone.
Connect the sensor cable to the pressure sensor. Connect the sensor cable to the PCD. Thereafter mount the pres-sure sensor to the appropriate place in the duct. The pressure sen-sor should be placed half way to 2/3 down the duct to get a repre-sentative pressure.
To connect the PCDs to the MLM system, connect the RJ9 cable to the MCU. Connect to the next available channel.
Connect the RJ9 cable to the PCD.

Plug in and switch on the power socket. You can also connect to a single PCD and commission it with a USB connection which is plugged directly to your computer.

To set-up Rickard diffusers, you need to install Rickards MLM software. If it is not installed follow the following instructions to install it. Go to http://www.rickardair.com

Click on the 32 or 64 bit MLM Tool depending if you have a 32 or 64 bit PC and download the file.

Double click on the file you downloaded and follow these steps.

Open the MLM Application and click connect.
If you are using a USB module, click on the USB tab and type in the serial number written on the USB black box. Click Connect
If you are connecting through a MCU module. Make sure your Com-puters IP address is setup correctly. Please go to the Help menu on the MLM application and select “Launch Help” for instructions.
Go to Hardware and PC setup to connect to MCU in the contents menu. Set your PC’s IP address correctly.
Click Connect.
Click on the UDP tab and type in the MCU’s default IP address i.e. 192.168.0.251. Click Connect.

The PCD will appear like this on the MLM interface. If you have PCDs connected in one zone they will appear next to each other.
To set the pressure setpoint click on the top left corner of the PCD and the side options will appear. Click on Setpoint and enter the set-point value and then click Write.
