• Process:– One position at a time

– If only 1 person is running, pledges can nominate candidates off the floor

– You cannot nominate yourself

– If 1 person is running unopposed, we can motion to vote for that person by acclimation • Someone must say “Motion for all

persons running unopposed to be voted in by acclamation”

• Someone must say “second”

• Everyone else must say “Aye”

ELECTIONS!!!

– When voting (by acclimation):• Individual presents• Individual leaves the room• Pro/Con debate is opened• If you want to vote for that person say “Aye”• If you don’t want them to be elected say “Nay”• Majority has it

– When voting (with multiple people)• All candidates leave the room• First person is called in to present• First leaves the room• Pro/Con debate in opened• Repeat until all candidates present• Call all candidates back in• We vote on paper ballots
