Week of 9/7: Teaching the Civil WarTo mark the 150th anniversary the Civil War, we will highlight the notable figures/events from the era. NOTE: PBS will also air a remastered version of Ken Burns’ The Civil War from 9/7-11.

Week of 9/14: Arts in Education Week This theme supports National Arts in Education Week (9/13-15) by showcasing resources that help teachers infuse the creative arts into their curriculum.

Week of 9/21: Conservation in the Wild This week’s resources support the on-air premiere of Gorongosa Park: Rebirth of Paradise on PBS (9/22) and enhance lessons on environmental science, wildlife, and conservation.
