Sandi  Levy  is  a  mixed-‐media  artist  living  in  Aventura,  Florida.  She  uses  watercolor,  acrylics, oils, enamels, inks, mediums, and ‘found treasures’ to create her palette, often combined in one painting! After teaching for 32 years in the New York City School system, she returned to Miami in 1999 with renewed enthusiasm for colors and subjects of nature: flowers, landscapes, animals, and seascapes.  When  not  painting,  Sandi  spends  time  with  her  significant  other  Sol,  and  her  beloved  pets:    Gigi,  a  picture-‐perfect  Maltese,  and  Angelini,  her  turtle.    She  also  teaches  and  performs  Belly  Dancing.    Sandi  loves  to  paint  to  the  background  sounds  of  Middle-‐Eastern  percussion  and  ends  up  shimmying  and  dancing  while  holding  the  paintbrush  in  her  mouth!  [email protected]  ·  305.978.6701  ·  305.705.0427

Within  his  work,  Marcus  explores  both  surface  and  implied  depth.    Utilizing  methods  steeped   in   tradition,   he   manipulates   space   and   form   upon   the   canvas’   two-‐dimensional  surface.    He  combines  these  techniques  alongside  urban  inspired  media,  such  as  spray  paint,  which,  he  acknowledges,  as  flat,  color  elements  to  complement  the  established  depth  and  form.    Marcus  is  inspired  by  this  duality  of  both  technique  and  subject,  as  it  parallels  his  life  of  tradition  and  the  unconventional.        Marcus’  work  can  be  seen  at  the  Markowicz  Fine  Art  Gallery,  Miami  Design  District,  Miami,  FL;  Soho  Myriad  in  Atlanta,  GA,  and  Los  Angeles,  CA,  and  in  London,  England    www.marcusfineart.com  •  [email protected]  •  954.821.6661  716  SE  7th  Street,  Fort  Lauderdale,  FL  33301
