WORK EXPERIENCE

COLORADO STATE PATROL (1984-2011) . Corporal/1st Line Supervisor (2000-2011) Promotion to Corporal, Boulder County Troop Office Supervised a team of field Troopers in a mixed metro/rural environment (Denver/Boulder). Made dispositions regarding enforcement and case filing, reviewed and approved reports, supervised team operations and conducted general enforcement operations. Supervised serious crime scenes and pursuits, officer involved injuries and use of force incidents. Provided leadership, management, guidance and discipline to a team of 8-10 field Troopers. Investigation, identification and recovery of stolen cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats, construction equipment and component parts. Conducted and supervised investigations ranging from felony and misdemeanor crimes including traffic offenses and vehicular homicides/assaults, to cases involving auto theft, narcotics, burglary, theft and criminal impersonation. Career long experience in interview and interrogation. Trooper (1995-2000) Boulder County Troop Office Voluntary transfer to new duty station with return to rank of Trooper Technician/Supervisor (1993-1995) Promoted to Idaho Springs Post Supervised a team of field Troopers in addition to above listed duties. Trooper (1984-1993) Frisco Troop Office Field Trooper duties, including general traffic and criminal enforcement, accident investigation and providing field training to newly graduated cadets.
