Developed procedures for future projects, gathered and processed bids for a number of new projects, and reviewed all regulatory issues for the States of Louisiana and Mississippi. AGR FJ BROWN INC., Houston, Texas • 2011-2013Consulting Professional EngineerPerformed role of drilling/plug and abandonment/work over engineer on projects and consulted for McMoRan Oil and Gas on drilling, P&A snubbing and international reviews. Oversaw all phases of projects from engineering and planning to implementation and completion with a focus on keeping the wells operating within budget. Managed field personnel provided by Client Company. Developed diverse APD’s and casing designs for client as well as all detail drilling engineering designs related to the planning of future drilling projects for deep HTHP wells offshore. Provided PE certifications for all P&A for Tarpon Operating and Sandridge. Also consulted for Lukoil, USA deep water Ivory Coast.

Developed engineering design and APD’s and performed drilling engineering duties on 2 extremely complex 35,000’ HTHP wells in the Gulf of Mexico that required unique and seldom required skills and took over a year to reach TD (Total Depth).

Completed all phases of a complex snubbing project at East Cameron 42 within budget that included freeing tools stuck in tubing for over 8 years at over 3000# pressure in addition to killing both the well and the platform.

Oversaw numerous successful subsea P&A projects and 2 international well reviews for 2 deep water projects in the Ivory Coast on time and within budget.

DYNAMIC OFFSHORE ENERGY LLC, Houston, Texas • 2008-2010Drilling ManagerAssumed role of sole Drilling Manager/Engineer in the company and led all phases of drilling 3 wells per year. Provided all detailed engineering design in the offshore industry and managed bids, timing and project planning. Produced cost estimates for all potential drilling projects. Conducted reviews on all P&A procedures as the only engineer with a PE license prior to certification and submission to BSEE. Directed all well site supervisors, safety managers and shore base managers. Secured all PE Certifications for all P&A projects. Performed role of interim Decommissioning Manager when incumbent was out of office.

Halted major drilling fluid losses by employing a rarely used product and drilled the well to TD on time and within budget.

Formulated best in class solutions to highly complex problems and interpreted new BSEE rules for all offshore projects to lessen impact on the company’s business goals.

BP AMERICAS, Houston, Texas • 2005-2007Consultant Drilling EngineerActed as sole Drilling Engineer in the Permian Basin and oversaw drilling of 8 consecutive wells as well as leading a P&A project in the Tuscaloosa Trend. Provided all detail drilling engineering well designs, completions designs and operations management. Guided all aspects of projects including bids, project planning and timing. Authored a paper on drilling success on horizontal wells in the Permian Basin that was presented at the National AADE Conference.

Set a number of records in air and horizontal drilling and ensured 7 of the 8 wells were drilled under budget and ahead of schedule.

Achieved numerous records through knowledgeable vendor recommendations that saved BP significant drilling costs.
