MINISTRY EXPERIENCE

Valley Bible Church Shafter, California 2010 to PresentAssociate PastorDeveloped and coordinated, with the Children’s Director, a cohesive Christian education program for children Kindergarten through 6th grade. Led small groups for teens, college aged adults and young families. Lead counseling sessions for teens and adults. Introduced and established service teams to work with the financially struggling in Bakersfield and Hollywood. Assisted senior pastor in visitation, budget organization, and ministry planning.

Heart of the Canyons Church Santa Clarita, California 2006 to 2010Children’s Pastor Provided pastoral leadership and vision for the entire children’s ministry from birth to sixth grade. Oversaw recruitment, planning, development and training of a children’s ministry team and core leaders. Directed children’s programs and developed curriculum and philosophy strategies. Built a family ministry service and several family events. Taught spiritual growth, parenting, and leadership development classes/courses. Worked with Help the Children International food bank to serve financially struggling families.
