Security & Access
FEEL SAFE!Your HPU Passport will provide you access to your Residence hall 24/7. It will also provide access to all academic buildings during school hours, as well as
the Slane Student Center and the Wanek Center untill closing hours. It also grants you late night access to the residence hall that you live in to ensure the safety of all.
How It Works?Every car that enters HPU must be registered
through the university and have a decal. This decal will determine if you are aloud on campus. If there is no decal present a passenger in
the car will need to show his or her passport at the entrance. NO PASSPORT NO ENTRANCE! Our security team works around
the clock to provide the safest environment for our students.

What is a
Passport?
High Point University is a cashless campus; meaning that the only thing that is accepted here is an HPU Passport. This passport is exclusivley for students faculty and staff. With one single swipe you have
access to academic buildings, student resident halls, our variety of dining halls, along with our 100 local businesses that accept the card, providing exclussive
access to more than 5,000 customers. Here at HPU we try to provide the most convienent ways to only have
to carry a single card.

Residential students may choose one of these four dining plan options:19 meals per week with $25 Dining Dollars per semester14 meals per week with $150 Dining Dollars per semes-ter10 meals per week with $250 Dining Dollars per semes-ter7 meals per week with $325 Dining Dollars per semester
Here at HPU we try to give our students a variety of food options on campus so that there
is simply no need to leave. We provide our students with 12 different places to eat. Each place having different types of food to satisfy
every student.
If you thought that was it, guess again. HPU has extended the Passport card footprint to include
businesses throughout the city of High Point. Today, nearly 100 local businesses accept the card, providing exclusive access to more than
5,000 customers.
