Hi All,

We couldn’t be happier to have you considering a partnership with the Born & Raced in Nebraska Running Series! The BRIN Running Series was developed for runners, by runners. We strive to complement many of the well-established races in the area while providing an unparalleled experience for each of our runners. Each race is unique in its own right, but has been designed to be just that - an experience! We bring this same vision to our partnership program.

Any running event can put your logo on a t-shirt and place a banner at the finish line, but few can provide a true return on your investment. Our packages are not one-size-fits-all. We don’t offer price-points. What we do is different and proven to be effective. Our partnership methods provide your organization with strong brand exposure and the opportunity to be front-and-center as a contributor in our community. We’ll work with you to create a package tailored to your organization’s needs and budget.

Tired of the traditional Saturday morning 5K, we set out to break that mold. We accomplished that with HMH, a Friday evening race with complete with a live band and dinner.

Three new races were added in 2014 to BRIN’s platform. We have

successfully sold out 6 of 9 events in our history.

WHERE IT STARTED

Founded in 2013, BRIN was the culmination of frustration with the current state of races in Nebraska. At BRIN, the runner is at the forefront of everything we do.

PRESENTING SERIES SPONSOR

The Presenting sponsor of the BRIN Running Series will have the naming rights for the entire series. This sponsor’s name will go directly under the BRIN logo on all online & print publications. The presenting sponsor also has the opportunity to host packet pickup for each race, as well as other exclusive BRIN events throughout the year (ie: Marathon Training Classes).

RACE TITLE SPONSOR

We are now offering the naming rights to each individual race on our series. At this level you will get to select the event you would like to be highlighted for throughout the year. You will then have the naming rights for that specific event each year, with your name being placed with the race logo and all publications that go with that event. Sponsoring with BRIN is different than any other race. At this level you have the opportunity to remain in the sponsorship mix year round, not simply for one single event each year.

OFFICIAL SERIES SPONSOR

Sponsorship at this level gives our partners the opportunity to sponsor for all BRIN events year round. Giving them the most exposure and brand recognition opportunities as possible, with our five events scheduled for 2015, this provides you a great opportunity to have your name listed on our website, race shirts, posters, postcards etc.

PRODUCT PARTNERS

Product partners are vital to the success of our events, and we value you just as much as our paying sponsors. Product sponsors offer a service or product either free of charge or at a discount to our events. These partnerships offer great brand and name recognition for you, provide the runners a change to interact with your products/ services and add to our race day experience.

When the BRIN racing series first took off, we were living in New Mexico and my heart ached that I couldn’t be a part of the events. Not only did I crave a good run, but I was immediately drawn to the unspoken sense of comradery, the connection with other runners who are born and raced in Nebraska.

I have had the chance to run several BRIN races and have enjoyed them more than any other race I have run. They are always well organized and enjoyable for runners and spectators alike. I think that BRIN offers more than just a good time, though. I think that BRIN has asked us, as runners to embrace our roots and represent the Cornhusker State the best way we can. I am extremely proud to be a part of this. Wherever I do race, though, I will always remember that I am BRIN. There is something extremely special about having a place for your feet to call home and that is what BRIN offers.

The digital screens are available at Kicks ‘n Kisses & corNfieldcorNfield. We use these to highlight sponsors, course maps, and race results. It really adds to the race day experience for our runners and sponsors. The race arch, race bibs, shirts, swag bags, course maps, and feather flags all provide our sponsors with opportunites for brand awareness and exposure on race day. The runner SWAG bags provide another great option for our sponsors to put products, fliers, or giveaways directly into the hands of their target demographic.

SERIES SPONSOR WHY IT WORKS FOR YOU

We are changing the way they run... our sponsorship plan that is.

The Title Sponsors will be chosen in a “First-Come-First-Serve” basis on which race they want to be the title sponsor for. The Series Sponsor and the Title Sponsor will be presented together during the race, as well as the campaign.

The “new” concept of the Title Sponsorship is going to bring a large gain to both BRIN, but also the sponsor!

The Title Sponsor will stand apart from the other types of sponsors for one race a year. During the other races that are being promoted over the course of a year, the Title Sponsor will remain alongside the Official Sponsors.

In addition to standing next to Madonna for the race, they will also have the usage of branded bibs, swag items, their logo on the pre-view videos for the race, but most importantly- the Title Sponsor will have naming rights to the event.

MARATHON CLASS TSHIRT (FRONT AND BACK)

The Series Sponsor has naming rights to the BRIN series, therefore they will be featured on all the SWAG items.

The BRIN blackout is a special incentive received before a race that only the Series Sponsor gets to receive.

The Series Sponsor has exclusive rights to the pre-race packet pickup which occurs four times a year.

The half-marathon training class is a 16-week program held each spring in conjuction with the series sponsor.

Madonna (ProActive and Madonna Therapy Plus) partnered with BRIN Running series not just because of the exciting races that they bring to Lincoln and Omaha, but what they bring to the community. BRIN is similar to us as a local non profit organization. Both having a similar mission to take people of any ability, from where they are to where they want to go. They create an environment to be successful – not just in running but in overall health and strong community ties. Zach Harsin, Race Director, leads the events not just as an Events Director but instead a friend and partner of Madonna by thinking about his sponsors and including us in decisions and event planning. This local based running series provides runners of all abilities great courses as well as social events. I look forward to the year’s and continued success with our partnership.

Brand new location for 2015: The Railyard Lincoln

Runners either run the Duo Dash, where any duo can run the entire race tethered to their partner, or chase down on valentine of their own in the cupid chase.

The winners receive a brand new pair of running shoes, everyone get’s a kiss, a Hershey’s kiss that is!

2014 was the inaugural year for this event and we sold out at 500 runners.

Runners are treated to a watermelon & sweetcorn feed following the race. Anticipating 750-1000 runners for 2015.

Hit 500 runner sell out in 16 days. We will be increasing our runner cap to 750 for 2015 after 3 straight sold out events. This event is extremely unique for the Lincoln and Omaha area.

Another unique event for the area. This is a true championship style Cross Country event.

A very challenging course, but runners loved the inaugural event in 2014, especially the Run Forest Run race tee, that we feel will really catch on!

We will be moving race dates in 2015 with the intention of drawing more runners.

Eye toward the future.

We are never satisfied with yesterday’s success and are constantly seeking for ways to grow our reach, better serve our sponsors, and offer even greater and larger events right here in Nebraska. As we continue to grow we hope you will grow with us. We couldn’t be more excited for some of the plans we have for 2015 and even 2016 already.

While we are very pleased with our inaugural year, we know there is room for improvement and will continue to strive to be one of the best locally run and sponsored event series not just in the state but in the region. As we continue to grow relationships with our runners, race vendors, sponsors, and community representatives you will see nothing but positive changes from us.
