1 To carry out an inspection of building work under supervision, the supervising Building Inspector or Building Surveyor must be authorised to carry out such an inspection, and you must have
carried out the inspection in their presence and at their direction. 2
Tick a box in the third column only if you are already registered in Victoria in the category of Building Inspector (Limited) (or an interstate equivalent), and only for those classes and types of
building within the scope of your registration. If, for example, you are limited to inspecting class 1, 2 and 10 buildings up to two storeys in height, then you cannot carry out an inspection of
building work for a class 9 building, so you should not indicate that you have carried out this work as a registered Building Inspector (Limited).
