Some Biblical truth about money:
“Those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful desires which
plunge men into ruin and destruction.
For the love of money is a root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the
faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.” 1 Timothy 6 v 9 - 10
Some Biblical truth about money:
What lies do Christian tell themselves about giving?
•I’m not under OT law, so tithing no longer applies
•A TITHE can be given to things other than the church
•I don’t need to give money because I give time (serve)
•It’s normal/godly/holy for the church to be underfunded
•I’ll give if I have something left at the end of the month
•100% - 10% = 90%
Normal maths: 100% - 10% = 90% ✔God’s kingdom maths:
100% - 10% = 90%
100% - 10% = obedient faith
100% - 10% = God’s blessing
100% - 10% > 100%
