Welcome to Park House For over twenty‐five years we have helped key personnel, managers , professionals, academics , as well as well‐known politicians to improve their global performance in English.
Park House Training offers the ideal environment for a short intensive course in English for international communication. Training is either fully one‐to‐one (with 30 or 40 lessons a week) or a combination programme consisting of mini‐group plus one‐to‐one. Our expert and highly‐qualified team of language trainers also have a wide range of professional and business experience.
Fully residential and set in some of the most beautiful countryside in Britain, Park House offers a friendly and highly ‐acclaimed standard of training, accommodation, food and comfort. We are fully accredited by the British Council.

The most time and cost‐effective way to study English, one‐to‐one courses allow maximum progress based on individually‐tailored programmes.
Carefully‐planned modules allow you to expand your general and professional vocabulary, develop your fluency, and if required concentrate on English for meetings, negotiations , presentations etc. We also offer courses for exam preparation and interview skills.
With a Leader or Premium programme your learning agenda is set by your personal needs. You can measure your improvement day by day.

Fully‐residential programmes
The key benefit of a Club combination programme is that it combines mini‐group study ( maximum four participants) with one‐to‐one lessons, allowing you to concentrate on special areas of English where you need help.
Working together in a relaxed mini‐group, you develop your discussion and business communication skills. You quickly build confidence by exploring current business topics, working on case studies and role‐playing meetings. In your individual lessons you can then focus on grammar, vocabulary, listening , pronunciation or more specialised communication needs.

Park House is an elegant 18th century country house with a uniquely ‘English’ atmosphere surrounded by 12 hectares of gardens, woods and parkland. All students have their own comfortable bedroom and private bathroom. Over the years, we have gained a high reputation for our outstanding food and wine – just ask our old students!
The Coach House has a dedicated leisure area with DVD, mini‐bar, snooker, ping‐pong and music. Above all, your resident hosts, Charles and Ann Jackson, make you really welcome and ensure a memorable stay.

The countryside of the English‐Welsh borders is among the most attractive in Britain, with the sea only an hour or so away. Sporting opportunities include quad‐biking, golf, cycling, walking, riding, shooting and flying.
Shopping in the nearby market town of Shrewsbury is a real pleasure and a visit to the famous city of Chester is popular at week‐ends.
An important part of any visit to this region of Britain is a trip to a local pub. Park House is fortunate to have many historic and charming country pubs nearby, where you can enjoy a ‘pint’ of beer and a practise your English with the friendly locals. Cheers!

Park House is situated midway between Birmingham, Manchester and Liverpool airports. Airport transfers are arranged for both arrival and departure flights. For guests who wish to bring their own cars, Park House is only 25 minutes from the motorway network and reaching us is easy. Our courses run from late February to mid‐December.
