Dear Parishioners, We are more than half way through Lent and so we ask ourselves "HOW AM I DOING?" There is still time to do something for Lent and to allow Lent to do something for you! As was announced, we begin our Easter Egg Contest. The children in our school and in our religious education program have all received information about the contest as well as the special egg entry forms. (Additional forms are on the ushers' tables in the church lobby). The Easter Rabbit, Easter Hare or the Easter Bunny is a symbol of Easter originating among German Christians as a judge to determine whether children were good or bad, living up to their Lenten promises and practices. If the children were good and faithful to their Lenten promises, the Easter Rabbit would bring them a decorated Easter egg. So, we hope that our children will be visited by the Easter Rabbit on Easter Sunday with a special Easter egg. This contest is for chil-dren only --- adults may help but may not submit an entry! Awards will be made on Easter Sunday! Please be mindful of the Holy Week schedule printed below and plan to celebrate the most important week of our faith by
coming to church for all of the services and celebrations --- and invite a family member and a friend!

Estimados feligreses, Estamos a más de la mitad de la Cuaresma y a ver si nos preguntamos "¿CÓMO ESTOY HACIENDO?" Todavía hay tiempo para hacer algo por la Cuaresma y permitir que la Cuaresma haga algo por usted! Como se anunció, comenzamos nuestro concurso de huevos de Pascua. Los niños en nuestra escuela y en nuestro programa de educación religiosa han recibido información sobre el concurso, así como las formas especiales de entrada. (Hay formas adi-cionales en las mesas de los ujieres en el vestíbulo de la iglesia). El Conejo de Pascua, la Liebre de Pascua o el Conejo de Pascua es un símbolo de la Pascua que se originó entre los cristianos alemanes como juez para determinar si los niños eran buenos o malos, cumpliendo con sus promesas y prácticas cuaresmales. Si los niños eran buenos y fieles a sus promesas de Cuaresma, el Conejo de Pascua les traería un huevo de Pascua decorado. Por lo tanto, esperamos que nuestros hijos sean visitados por el co-nejo de Pascua el domingo de Pascua con un huevo de Pascua especial. Este concurso es sólo para niños --- ¡los adultos pueden ayudar pero no pueden enviar una entrada! ¡Los premios serán hechos el Domingo de Pascua!
