Dear Parishioners,!!
In the name of Fathers Stephen and Dennis as
well as myself, many thanks for your cards and
kindnesses to us during the Christmas season. We
are very blessed to be able to serve you and we
will certainly pray for you during the New Year ... may it be a year of peace! Once again, I ask your
extra generosity in the Christmas collection and
for the Christmas flowers. These two collections
are very, very important for our finances here. Like yourselves, we struggle to pay the bills and
there is so much more I would like to do but at
this point we do not have the funds for additional
landscaping, continuing sidewalk repairs, renova-tion of the parking lot, rectory curtains and blinds,
additional religious education programs ��� just to
mention a few. The exterior of the school build-
ing is begging for pointing, new windows, electri-cal upgrade, boiler replacements and repair of the
window lintels but that would be a major under-
taking but a necessary one. So, as we begin the
New Year, we need to plan and to pray ... more to
come on a major capital campaign for St. Frances ... stay tuned and, for the moment, hold
on to your wallets!!

SCHOOL PARENTS need to be registered, using the envelopes for attendance purposes and attending week-end Masses in order to qualify for a parish grant for school tuition.!
GODPARENTS ... are supposed to be role models of the Catholic faith for the children to be baptized ... and so, a role model should be baptized, have received First Holy Communion, be confirmed and ��� if mar-ried, married in the Catholic Church ... the role model should also be a practicing Catholic which includes weekly attendance at Mass ... do you want anything less for your child? tas y amabilidad con nosotros durante la tempora-da de Navidad. Somos muy afortunados de poder
servirle y ciertamente oraremos por ustedes du-
rante el Año Nuevo ... ¡que sea un año de paz!
Una vez más, le pido su generosidad extra en la colecta de Navidad y las flores de Navidad. Estas
dos colectas son muy, muy importantes para
nuestras finanzas aquí. Al igual que ustedes, nos
esforzamos por pagar las facturas y hay mucho
más que me gustaría hacer, pero en este momento no tenemos los fondos para los trabajos adiciona-
les, la continuación de las reparaciones de la ace-
ra, la renovación del estacionamiento, cortinas y
persianas de la rectoría, adicionales programas de educación religiosa ��� solo por mencionar algu-
nos. El exterior del edificio de la escuela está pi-
diendo que señale, nuevas ventanas, mejoras en la
estructura eléctrica, reemplazos de calderas y re-paración de las ventanas, pero sería una gran ta-
rea, pero necesaria. Entonces, cuando comenza-
mos el Año Nuevo, tenemos que planear y orar ...
más para participar en una importante campaña de capital para St. Frances ... estén atentos y, por
el momento, ¡sostengan sus billeteras!!
