    THE RIGHT WORD

A malapropism is when someone uses an incorrect word in place of another similar sounding word. For example, saying evacuate instead of evaporate, or pineapple instead of pinnacle. Can you find the malapropism and correct these 3 sentences?

    - Pinkfoot was just a pigment of Goby’s imagination.

    - Mr Grouper taught us about the oranges of the universe.

    - The Guppies helped Clam mail an imitation to Sam.

    FINISH THESTORY

Grab some friends to join you and write a story together! Start with one person writing the first sentence, the next person write the secondsentence, and keep goinguntil everyone has had a turn.

Try writing something for the Bubble Guppies to perform!

If you want to continue after everyone has had a turn, you can start again from the first person until you get a story everyone is happy with.

    WORD WAVE

Have you ever created an artwork with words? Using the theme “Sea”, start out by thinking of a story, or a poem, or even just a group of words that you like! Next, draw the shape of a wave with a pencil - you can even draw more than one wave.

With some pens (as many colors as you like!), write out your words inside your outline. Get as close to the edge as possible. Make sure to use different colors if you have more than one wave.

Finally, erase your outlines and admire what you’re left with!
