SCRIP UPDATE: The school office will be open Monday-Friday from the hours of 8:00am – 3:45pm for scrip purchases. ATTENDANCE: When a student is absent, the parent needs to call the office by 10:00am to report the absence, a written note must be presented upon return to school. ATTENTION PARENTS: Out of an abundance of caution, please keep your child/children home if you or anyone in your household are waiting for the results from a COVID test, or if anyone in your household have had a known exposure to an individual with COVID or have the need to test due to suspected exposure. Your cooperation with this will be greatly appreciated. SCRIP REPORTS: The SCRIP fiscal year ends on April 30th. Scrip totals are available upon request by sending an email to Mrs. Precissi at [email protected] STUDENTS RETURNING TO SCHOOL AFTER ILLNESS: Students are able to return to school after exclusion for symptoms at home or in school when:

• At least 24 hours have passed since resolution of fever without the use of fever-reducing medications; and

• Other symptoms have improved; and they have a negative test for SARS-CoV-2, OR a healthcare provider has provided documentation that the symptoms are typical of their underlying chronic condition (e.g., allergies or asthma) OR a healthcare provider has confirmed an alternative named diagnosis (e.g., Streptococcal pharyngitis, Coxsackie virus), OR at least 10 days have passed since symptom onset. TRAVEL OUT OF STATE: As a precaution, we are asking for a 5-day monitoring period after traveling out of state before a student can return to school.

PANERA BREAD FUNDRAISER: Thank you for participating in our recent fundraiser at Panera Bread! Our school brought in 45 transactions with $1,527.62 in sales, 20% of the sales will be coming back to us in the amount of $305.52. SEEDS TUITION ASSISTANCE: All tuition assistance applications are due by March 15th. Any applications which are incomplete/not verified on March 16th will not be eligible for assistance. Recipients of a SEEDS scholarship will be notified by the school administrator in June. To apply please go to https://online.factsmgt.com/aid If you currently have a FACTS account, please use your login information. ABSENT VS. DISTANCE LEARNING: We would like to remind you that students who are absent for any reason are not to log into the google meet. Only those documented remote learning students should be in the google meet. The reason for this is that it makes it difficult for teachers to prepare properly for these day-to-day changes. If a student is absent for more than three days, and is awaiting clearance to return, they could then be in the meets. Absentee students will receive their absent work either when they return or in google classroom, depending on the teacher. If you as a family have the need to return your child/children to distance learning please send us an email informing us of your plan. Once your family decides to return from the remote learning option please provide the office & teacher two week notice of your intention to return. This will allow for the teacher and staff to prepare classroom materials and supplies. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding in this matter. MRS. CAMERON: Mrs. Cameron will be going on her maternity leave starting March 1st. Miss Megan Hardison has spent the last month and a half with Mrs. Cameron studying her teaching techniques and learning what makes each 3rd grader special, she will be finishing out the year with them. We wish Mrs. Cameron the best and pray for God’s blessings for her and her husband as they welcome their first child.
