• LOW ratio use per item• Mostly 2.5 to 1 overall for group

• LOW circulation frequency• 30% of titles had 0-1 uses

• But these are titles we may want as research libraries

Low Use: The “Comet tail” Copies

• Range of 7 to 19 copies in I-Share• Characterized by MEDIUM high cost per use

• Averaging $26.00 ($23 to $28)• Moderate ratio use per item

• 2.5 to 1• Modest circulation frequency (>10)• The Medium Overlap total cost is over

11 million dollars distributed over 5 years
