Center City Development Corporation will provide a Center City Development Corporation grant — made possible by the Urban Enterprise Association — of up to $500.00 towards the cost of new paint, awnings, landscaping or signage for commercial properties located in the Central Business District for reimbursement. P.A.L.S. Grant Guidelines
1. Only one grant per legal entity.
2. All work must be done on the front exterior of the building or the
green space directly in front of the property and result in a
publicly visible improvement. Any work on the rear of the building
is not eligible.
3. All work must be done in accordance with the City of Richmond
Code and Signage Ordinance and all required permits must be
obtained.
4. Work must comply with CCDC Design Committee and be
contributing and appropriate to the district.
5. Only work begun after grant approval will be eligible for
reimbursement. Any work in progress or performed before
approval will not be eligible.
6. Work must be completed within 90 days of being awarded.
7. Approved funds will be reimbursed to applicant with approved
documentation and receipts of completion of approved project.
The following types of property are not eligible:
• Residential buildings • Property in litigation, condemnation or receivership
