Message from the East
Dear Palmwood Lodge Brothers,
Thank you for the honor of having me as Worshipful Master for 2015 and for
your support this year. I especially want to thank the Past Masters and Broth-
ers who continue to stay involved in our Lodge. The Worshipful Master may
change from year to year, membership numbers, regulations and even the
faces at Lodge may change, but our Obligation does not. Let’s keep our
Lodge growing and moving forward for those who have gone this way before
us, for ourselves and especially for those who will come after us. Brothers,
you may not be able to make it to every meeting, but stay involved and ask
how you can help. Palmwood Lodge has a wealth of good men to continue
the work of making it a better Lodge.
On December 3rd we will hold our election of 2016 Officers. This is one of
the most significant duties we must perform. Please make sure nominations
for 2016 Officers are into the Secretary’s office by 12-3-15. Nominations for
2016 Officer cannot be accepted once the Lodge is open on 12-3-15.
There will be a School of Instruction from 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 PM Saturday,
December 12, 2015 at Harmonia Lodge . We will be going over the ritual for
opening and closing a Funeral Lodge and for an Open Installation. The 2015
Officers and 2016 Officers-Elect should make every effort to attend.
On December 17, 2015 we have a 55-year pin presentation for Br. George
Mathews, HPM and a brief program about the Lodge renovations. We will
have a spectacular dinner prepared by Aladdin Mediterranean Grill.
Saturday January 2, 2016 will be a Called Communication for the purpose of
installing the 2016 Officers. Breakfast by Chef Rocky at 9:00 AM and the
ceremony begins at 10:00 A.M.
Please support the District 32 Toy Drive by bringing an unwrapped gift (toy,
gift cards, check, cash) to Lodge by 12-3-15.
This holiday season keep in your thoughts and prayers our first responders
and the men and women in the military. I wish you and your family a Merry
Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Message from the South Brethren,
Another Masonic year has flown by and I wish to thank all the brothers of Palmwood
Lodge for their support and Friendship. It has been an Honor serving as your Junior War-
den.
Next year will be a very exciting one for Palmwood Lodge. We have a new slate of officers
who with the help of all are ready to bring energy and new ideas to our Lodge.
The “Holiday Season” is upon us. This is a time of joy and happiness for many people, but
it can also be a very ‘low’ time for others. In the coming months let us remember those less
fortunate and help those in need of assistance.

Message from the West
The holiday season is upon us. This is the time of year when we sit down to reflect
on the blessings we receive every day from the Great Architect of the Uni-
verse. Family and friends take center stage in our hearts like no other time
of the year.
In the Lodge we meet the fellows,
Who, in other walks of life,
We would seldom ever contact,
And then perhaps in strife.
They are men of every leaning
Whom we good and honest call,
And the splendid thing about it
Is, that we are Brothers All.
They are men of every station;
Some are rich and some are poor;
But they all are full of friendship
And of service have a store.
We may differ in our methods,
But our objects we recall
And it binds us in a labor
And it makes us Brothers All.
They are men of truth and honor
Trusting always in the right;
Seeking always further light.
What a power for perfect justice!
How can failure e′er befall
Such a firmly founded body––
