It combines consulting, agency, technology & operations to deliver unique & branded customer experience. I did my Spring 2016 Internship with The E-Commerce Department at PFSWeb as an E-Commerce Development Manager and worked closely with their client – Roots Canada, a huge merchandizing brand of Canada. I had a very interesting job of proposing different ideas for enhancing their website and coordinating the implementation with the development team in India. It was a great learning experience as I not only got a chance to improve my coordinating skills but also got fair knowledge of the e-commerce domain and highly in demand e-commerce platform of Demandware. INTRODUCTION OBJECTIVE 1. Gained experience in coordinating with Client Team and offshore development team. Learnt how to coordinate team meetings and how to bridge the gap between the expectations and deliverables for the client. 2.Learnt to work on JIRA – a ticketing tool that helps track the level of efforts required in various phases of the project and day to day activities done by the team towards working on a build release. ACCOMPLISHMENTS & CONCLUSION RELEVANT COURSEWORK Agile Software Project Management (MIS 6360) : Prepared weekly reports and Project Map using PowerPoint and MS Project 2013 Spreadsheet Modeling & Analytics (OPRE 6332) : Used various concepts of excel that helped in simplifying the day to day tasks. It is a key platform that helps in the smooth running, maintenance and enhancement of a website. 4. Accomplished 3 successful build releases for Roots Canada’s 2 websites – USA and Canada. 5. Implemented 2 great functionalities of “Notify Me” & “Hotspot”. Notify me enables users to get notified for any product that was previously out of stock and now is back in stock. Hotspot is a popup feature that saves a user time by allowing to see a quick view of a product and place orders.
