Realize how beneficial and easy it is to have a continuous

data stream where you can decide on demand to record, view

online or to post-process dynamic data of your choice.

Measurement systems of today meet the increasing demands for automated measurement tasks through modularity. This becomes especially powerful when combined with fl exibility.

The PAK family is built on modularity that can scale. Not only in the variety or number of channels, but most importantly in the way you work. Based on the pathbreaking concept of PAK live technology, users benefi t from comprehensive fl exibility for their individual workfl ows. Featuring PAK live technology, PAK 5.9 now connects to the intelligent, standalone PAK MKII frontends and continuously processes the streamed data. With this new inherent intelligence in combination with PAK live connection, data in PAK 5.9 is accessed on demand, wherever you are, and on whatever device you might be working on.

PAK 5.9 with access to PAK live systems, expands measurement performance using smart technology. Interact directly with the signals using the PAK capture App by viewing, monitoring and recording. This app is available as a free download in both the Google Play™ store or Apple iTunes® store. Together with PAK capture, users can confi gure channel parameters easily and calibrate on-site whilst having full signal control and immediate feedback. The intuitive workspace guides everybody safely through the measurement setup.

Measurements can be performed automatically with the various trigger options or manually by pressing record. The PAK MKII frontend with PAK live technology streams the data continuously from power-up till power-down.

As part of the PAK family, the PAK 5.x-series is a well-established and comprehensive analysis tool with powerful online graphics and a broad set of analysis functions for all NVH tasks. With the latest PAK 5.9 edition, workfl ows are now even quicker and more effi cient due to the smart features incorporated. Improvements have been made for measuring, analyzing and managing dynamic measurement data to simplify your challenging daily tasks and support you more in any acoustic, vibration or strength concern. As vibroacoustic engineers, we strive together with you towards even better engineering workfl ows.

PAK 5.9 reads this data stream, performs the required online analysis or stores the data for further post-processing. Users can also combine this data stream with virtual channels.

The standalone PAK MKII frontends with PAK live technology ensure even more robust recording as the data is acquired independently with no need for any PC interaction. At the same time the proven versatility, modularity and signal quality of PAK hardware is upheld. PAK MKII frontends with PAK live technology can record dynamic data onto the internal SSD or transfer the data over WLAN or Ethernet to PAK 5.9. Here in PAK 5.9, users decide where, when and how they would like to process data further.

Sustainability for high quality results begins with the choice of measurement equipment at the early stages of measurement preparation. To enhance the entire measurement chain, PAK 5.9 utilizes the information provided from the PAK MKII frontends as well as the sensors. This information is transferred through the entire measurement and ensures that data is acquired sustainably.

PAK 5.9 continues to create confi dence and comfort in its analyzing capabilities. For better results we have implemented new standards and worked further on interactions within the PAK family. PAK 5.9 runs on the operating systems: Windows® Vista and Windows® 7 / 8 / 10 (once released from Microsoft®).

From the beginning, Müller-BBM VibroAkustik Systeme focused on sustainable solutions for measuring, analyzing and managing dynamic data. PAK measurements stored in 1995 can still be read and analyzed by the latest PAK version. At the same time we support the data access via the open data standard ASAM ODS. As one of the initial ASAM organization founders, as well as one of the four driver members in the openMDM® association, we continuously strive for further standardization of data and process management.
