1/2” tall, green plastic lamp post w/ white or milky

lamp top, stamped under the base as Lionel but

w/o item # , probably first issued in 1959 and ran

thru 1969, issued as a less expensive alternative to

earlier lamps, replacement bulb is # L19(not incl

here) , two tested well here, the third has no bulb

making it not possible to test here, original wiring

still attached to all three pieces, 2 are RTR & all

020004 # 128 Animated Newstand by Lionel,

issued 1957-60, motor driven accessory w/ 2 ani-

mated men and one animated dog, measures about

8 1/2” long x 6 1/4” wide & 4 1/4” tall, tan plastic

base & green plastic newstand, motor tested well

and all 3 animated figures moved in our test, light

also tested well, missing is the roof, the fire

hydrant and the newsboy’s newspaper, someone

added a telephone booth by glue(now separated

from base, but with glue mark over Lionel Data

Plate) , we will include the O Scale telephone

booth, if you can find a roof and a fire hydrant,

you salvage this as a good operator & crowd pleas-

Lionel, issued from 1953 to 1969, includes one

Right Hand & one Left Hand Switch, one con-

troller w/ two metal throw levers & bad wiring that

will need replaced, missing are the rotating direc-

tion indicator and a few of the track pins. Included

is the Lionel instructions item # 1122-229 dated 1-

59. Look fairly clean, might work if assembled

with the missing direction indicators and re-wired

2000, Limited Edition, item # 23514, powered, but

failed to move in our test, lights front and rear did

test well, operating knuckle couplers, shell has

been assembled to chassis by former owner, some

sunvisors, snowplow & more, solve the riddle of

the electrical contact and you will have an attrac-

tive piece for your fleet, nice looking vehicle, not

Edition, item # 23492, test ran well on standard

DC, two lights w/ wiring loose in box-may have

been removed by former owner to make room for

something-we are not sure, handrails are also loose

in the box, includes a small plastic bag w/ sunvi-

sors and other small details, plenty of paperwork,

missing are the front and rear grabs and some of

the tiny details, so winner may need to acquire a

detail kit to complete, o/ w Looks clean and never

shell by Proto 2000, Limited Edition, item # 8072,

former owner custom painted shell red w/ black

walkways edged in gray & did a nice job, there is

no lettering or numbering, test ran well on stan-

dard DC, front and rear lights tested well, lots of

details loose in box which we bagged, side rails

and horns are missing, NMRA couplers & paper-

work there, winner will have to assemble the shell

to the chassis and deal with all the detail chal-

020014 Kansas City Southern SD40-2 Snoot Nose

by Athearn, item # 04807, gray w/ large red mono-

gram, RN 681, operating knuckle couplers, 1 small

section handrail missing in front of cab-left side,

horns missing, plenty of other details in small

paper envelope, light & light bracket not installed,

test ran well on standard DC for us, so with a little

work this one could be RTR with lights-it is in the

020016 GATX SD40-2 RN 6351 custom painted

from Athearn loco by someone who knew how,

blue w/ large white “GATX” on both sides, head-

light and amber light on cab roof tested well,

failed to move in our test w/ standard DC, but we

found a Digitrax D163 decoder installed under the

hood, so maybe it will only work on DCC, operat-

ing knuckle couplers, really good-looking piece

that might work w/ a DCC set. No Box SUGG.

020017 Hudson & Pacific 2-6-2 steam RN 327,

made in Japan by unknown maker, die-cast boiler

shell, Repairman’s Special, side rods loose because

of missing screw, 1 loose pilot wheel & one miss-

test on the motor which will turn over when DC

applied, so might be salvagable, not RTR NB

motive RN 13 by New One Model, made in tokyo,

Japan long ago, black w/ gold letters, motor tested

okay-train will not move due to a gear problem,

plers, heavy metal construction including brass

domes, bell and whistle, 4-axle slopeback tender

looks good but is missing the coal load, not quite
