LEONARD R. CASEY JR. Leonard R. Casey Jr., 58, Radcliff, Ky. died August 5, 2015 in Chicago, Ill. while on a business trip. He is survived by his wife, Sherry Bruce Casey; three sons, Brandon L. Casey, Tyler A. Casey, Zachary R. Casey; one daughter, Makayla L. R. Casey; one granddaughter, Madilynn D. Casey; his parents, Leonard R. Casey and Mary L. Casey; one brother Mark A. Casey and his wife Nancy all of Radcliff; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was a hardworking and caring individual who would do anything to help a friend or family member. He was an expert mechanic and worked for the past 20 plus years at Kia Motors of Elizabethtown. He had a love for tinkering and working with his hands and Harley Davidson motorcycles. He served as an assistant scout manager for a local Boy Scout troop and was a dedicated Red Cross blood donor and organ donor. She is survived by her husband Louis A. Crawford, Battle- town; daughters, Jeanette Askins, Rockfield, Ky. and Annette (Tommy) Stansbury, Corydon, Ind.; sisters, Virginia (Leroy) Coomes, Brandenburg, and Harriet (Ken) Brooks, Mt. Wash- ington, Ky.; grandchildren, Daniel (Tiffany) Stansbury, Jessie (Justin) Lynton and Morgan Askins; great-grandchildren, Emily and Ethan Stansbury. She loved the outdoors, camping, fishing and gardening. She and her husband Louis farmed together for many years and was a member of Cold Spring Baptist Church. He was born Dec. 19, 1933 in Irvington, the son of the late Richard Claude and Maggie Moorman McCoy. He was preceded in death by his two sisters, Sue Carol Wilson and Mary Elizabeth Robinson; and brother, Richard Wayne Parks. He is survived by his wife, Sandra K. WILLIAM “WT” THOMAS SIPES William (WT) Thomas Sipes, hus- band, father, brother, grandfather, great- grandfather, uncle and great-uncle, died July 30, 2015. He was born June 13, 1932 in Garrett, Ky., to Richard Sipes and Sudie Greenwell Sipes. He married Kiyoko Kariya Aug. 14, 1953 at the American Embassy in Tokyo, Japan. He was preceded into death by a sister, Margaret Pike; and two brothers, Kelly and Bobby Sipes. He is survived by his wife, Kiyoko; his daughters, Judge Sharon Sipes and Dr. Bobbi (Dan) Sipes Martin; his grand- children, Jason (Lisa) Smith, Joey Stephens and Ashley Martin; great-grandchildren, Kolten (Sarah) Smith and Kyle Yepez; brothers, John Sipes, Eddie (Deanie) Sipes, and Alan (eresa) Sipes; and nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was a veteran of the Korean War and was a civilian employee of the USAF as Chief of three separate divisions. Percy L. Howard, 86, Guston, Ky., died Aug. 7, 2015, at

Breckinridge Memorial Hospital in Hardinsburg, Ky.He was born Aug. 2, 1929 in Madrid, Ky., the son of

the late Albert C. and Bessie Lucas Howard. and preceded in death by his daughter, Sharon Bishop; and brother, Carl Howard.

He is survived by his wife, Stella P. Howard; four children, Anna Jeanette (Bill) Garris, Webster, Ky., Carolyn (Bob) Pendleton, Hardinsburg, Ky., Danny (Donna) Howard, South Carolina and Timothy (Katheryn) Howard, Arlington, Texas; 53 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

He was a member of Guston Baptist Church, loved to work in electronics and would refurbish radios and TV’s; Lloyd retired from Hobart Manufacturing in Louisville where he worked for nearly 40 years and worked for Vulcan-Hart Manufacturing for 16 years and also at Park Avenue Apart-ments in Irvington.

Funeral services were held Aug. 11 from the Chapel of the Alexander Funeral Home, Irvington. Burial followed in Hudson Cemetery.

Jeffery E. “Jeff” King, 56, died, July 31, 2015 at U of L Hospital, Louisville, Ky.

He was born March 15, 1959 in Mobile, Al., the son of the late Edsel and Mary Josephine Newsome King.

He is preceded in death by a sister Sammie Meredith; a brother Larry Johnston; and step father Henry Walker West.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Patricia A. “Patty” King; four children, Amanda (Shawn) Fetch, Webster, Ky., Jeffery Michael (Talia) King, and Christopher Dewayne (Tara) King, Lodiburg, Ky., and Stephanie Dian (Tony) Townsell, Madisonville, Ky.; Sisters Dian Johnston-Gor-don, Finchville, Ky. and Terry (Dan) Sanders, Crittenden, Ky.; Brother: Ronnie (Nancy) Johnston, Brandon, MI; 8 ½ grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He attended Hillcrest Baptist Church in Kingswood, Ky., loved his family and friends, told them he loved them often and loved to be with them. He was a roofer for 11 years and was a self-taught auto mechanic in Lodiburg.

Funeral services were held Aug. 5, 2015 from the Hill-crest Baptist Church in Kingswood. Burial followed in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Lodiburg.

JacQueLIne ann Jackson

Jacqueline Ann Jackson, 82, Brandenburg, Ky., died Aug. 6, 2015, at her residence.

She is survived by three children, Neill Malmgren, Lori Malmgren, both of Brandenburg, Steven Malmgren, Lou-isville, Ky.; four grandchildren, Melissa Malmgren, Neill Malmgren, both of Kalamazoo, MI, Steven Malmgren, Brandenburg, Patricia Malmgren Key, Louisville; five great grandchildren; her adopted granddaughter, Janet Kaufman; a son-in-law, George Leo Masterson; and her special friend, Jean LaBanca.

Cremation was chosen by the family. Hager Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

Joshua “Josh” eugene Lucas

Joshua “Josh” Eugene Lucas, 37, Harned, Ky., died July 23, 2015 at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Hardinsburg, Ky., April 9, 1978.

He was preceded in death by his grand-mother, Geneva Harper; and grandfather, Preston Lucas.

He is survived by his parents, Loye and Cathy Harper Lucas, Harned; grandfather,

Walter Harper, Hardinsburg; grandmother, Hazel Lucas, Custer, Ky.; goddaughter, Morgan Poole; aunts and uncles, Linda (Gary) Sturgeon, Randy (Karen) Poole, Danny (Paula) Lucas, Timmy (Kay) Lucas, Kevin (Marilyn) Lucas, Charlie (Velma) Thurman; and their families.

He was a member of St. Romuald Catholic Church and the church choir. He was a former cast member and per-formed in many theatre productions at Pine Knob Theatre in Caneyville and was a former EMT with Breck Central EMS. He attended classes for Cosmetology and Massage Therapy.

Funeral services were held at St. Romuald Catholic Church on July 27. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Lloyd K. Parks, 81, Irvington, Ky, died, Aug. 6, 2015 at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, Ky.

He was born Dec. 19, 1933 in Irvington, the son of the late Richard Claude and Maggie Moorman McCoy.

He was preceded in death by his two sisters, Sue Carol Wilson and Mary Elizabeth Robinson; and brother, Richard Wayne Parks.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra K. Parks; four children, Sharon (Steve) Carter, Louisville, Ky., Cynthia (Frank) Glin, Irvington, Gregory (Kelley) Parks, Louisville and Michael (Kendy) Parks, Georgetown, Ky.; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was a former member of the Irvington Cumberland Presbyterian Church and a current member of the Irvington United Methodist Church, loved gardening and was an avid University of Kentucky Wildcat Basketball Fan.

Funeral services were held Aug. 9, 2015 from the Chapel of the Alexander Funeral Home in Irvington with burial following in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Harvey Sheroan, 80, Vine Grove, Ky. died

Aug. 4, 2015 at his residence.He was preceded in death by his wife,

Mary Lou Sheroan; one son, David Wayne Sheroan; his parents, Reedie (Lucy Mae); two brothers, Junior Lee Sheroan, and Billy Ray Sheroan.

He is survived by his wife, Decie Sheroan, Vine Grove; two sons, Gary Wayne (Lora

Jayne) Sheroan, Vine Grove, Michael (Lisa) Sheroan, Radcliff, Ky.; one stepdaughter, six stepsons, ten step-grandchildren, ten grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one brother, James Sheroan, Glendale, Ky.; three sisters, Minnie Woods, Vine Grove, Betty Benham, Vine Grove, Joyce Donley, Vine Grove.

He was a member of Falling Springs Missionary Baptist Church, Upton, Ky. and he was a Kentucky Colonel.

Funeral services were held Aug. 9 at the chapel of Coffey & Chism Funeral Home, Vine Grove. Brother Adam Jenkins officiated. Burial followed in the Vine Grove Cemetery.

William (WT) Thomas Sipes, hus-band, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and great-uncle, died July 30, 2015.

He was born June 13, 1932 in Garrett, Ky., to Richard Sipes and Sudie Greenwell Sipes. He married Kiyoko Kariya Aug. 14, 1953 at the American Embassy in Tokyo, Japan.

He was preceded into death by a sister, Margaret Pike; and two brothers, Kelly and Bobby Sipes.

He is survived by his wife, Kiyoko; his daughters, Judge Sharon Sipes and Dr. Bobbi (Dan) Sipes Martin; his grand-children, Jason (Lisa) Smith, Joey Stephens and Ashley Martin; great-grandchildren, Kolten (Sarah) Smith and Kyle Yepez; brothers, John Sipes, Eddie (Deanie) Sipes, and Alan (Theresa) Sipes; and nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was a veteran of the Korean War and was a civilian employee of the USAF as Chief of three separate divisions. After his retirement, he devoted himself to caring for his handicapped granddaughter, Joey.

Evelyn Marie Mills Stull, 86, Payneville, Ky., died Aug. 4, 2015 at North Hardin Health and Rehabilitation in Radcliff, Ky.

She was born on March 26, 1929 in Tulsa, Okla., to the late James Beckham and Lula Harriet Greenwell Mills.

She was preceded her in death by a daughter, Roni Marie Blevins; and a brother, Harry Mills.

She is survived by her children, Teresa (Tom) Mercure, Ed (Claudia) Stull, Brandenburg, Ky., Jimmie Stull, Pe-can, Ind.; Pat Stull, of North Carolina; Mike (Sue Ellen) Stull, Payneville; sister-in-law, Theresa Mills, Guston, Ky.; son-in-law, Frankie Blevins, Brandenburg; sister, Joyce Evans, Memphis, Ind.; Brother James (Norma Jean) Mills, Louisville, Ky.; 15 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

She was a member of St. Mary Magdalen of Pazzi, a “Cake Maker Supreme,” and she loved her birds and gardening.

Funeral services were held Aug. 7 at Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home. Burial followed in the St. Mary Magdalen of Pazzi Church Cemetery in Payneville, Ky.

Aug. 4, 2015, at his residence.He was preceded in death by three brothers, Herbie, Wil-

Stanley Williams, 48, Louisville, Ky., died Aug. 5, 2015 at Hosparus in Patient Care Center.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clinton Murphy Williams.

J.” Williams Symone “Madison” Williams and Serena “Mac” Williams all of Louisville; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Angela and James Hinkle, Radcliff, Ky. and DeBorah and Don McCormack, Louisville; four brothers, Clinton Williams, Ashburn, VA, Ronald Wil-liams, Vine Grove, Michael Williams, Louisville and London Williams, Vine Grove; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Stan was a member of First Christian Church of Radcliff where he served many years as a pianist and organist. He was Babe Ruth Kentucky State Softball Commissioner and VP of Softball at Fern Creek Babe Ruth, five time Babe Ruth World Series coach and he coached softball and Fern Creek Babe Ruth for 10 years. Stan also coached Optimist basketball for 8 years.

The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 14, 2015 at First Christian Church, Radcliff with Bro. Art McCann officiating. Burial will be in North Hardin Memorial Gardens in Radcliff.

Visitation will be on Thursday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home, 2072 South Dixie Boulevard, Radcliff. There will be no visitation on Friday at the funeral home.
