We would like to invite you to attend this workshop:

The overall aim is to:

Gain a consensus about what constitutes a ‘good’ PEWS, whilst enabling participants to develop a system to meet the needs of their respective Trusts.

The workshop will provide an opportunity to:

- Share charts currently in use within Trusts

- Obtain agreement on key features to be included

- Consider ways of using improvement methodology to implement PEWS locally

- Gain consensus for the development of a PEWS within a Trust

This will be interactive event and participants will be invited to bring along copies of the PEWS currently in use in their Trusts.

Speakers will also include Kath Evans - Programme Lead, NHS Institute Sebastian Yuen - Consultant Paediatrician, Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust

Delegates The event is aimed at Consultant Paediatricians & their medical teams, Anaesthetic teams, Lead Paediatric Nurses, Ward Managers and A&E staff. (This list is not exhaustive but offers suggestions of those staff who will find this useful in their professional roles)

Ideally, Trusts will send a team of 3-4 people who are in a position to shape the development of the PEWS within their organisation. Certificate of attendance will be given to all delegates attending. Cost & Booking No charge to PiP Member Trusts (see below) £10 per person to Non Member Trusts This workshop is being subsidised by the NHS Institute & Partners in Paediatrics.
