The AHUs offered above should cover complete sets of factory made equipment - made available in knocked down condition for easy transport to location.

All duct work / pipe supports shall be fastened into the masonary work with good mechanical fasteners fixed with suitable Rods - the contractor’s scope of work shall include for the minor civil works associated with this work. Fasteners shall be Hilti / Fischer, only.

All duct work done at site will have to be out of panels which will not have any joints in them; i.e. no panel smaller than 2400 X 900 (size of a full GI sheet) will be permitted to have any joints in it.

The hide away FCU where called for shall be complete with coil and casing, fan and filter with filtebox, chasis, suspension rods, A.V. mounts, canvas, duct plenums and collars and SA/RA grilles (Extruded Aluminium Air Master make) the FCUs shall also have 3 speed fan switch and remote controller – valves & RA sensors are to be set out in the BMS costing..

To dilute building material polution the AHUs will berun for two weeks before occupation - Power for therun will be provided by the owners - the a/c contractorshall operate these on all outside air - as if fullyopertioned - each AHU will have only MERV 8 filters inplace during flushing - these will be discarded at theend of the flushing operation and a new set of filtersintroduced along with the MERV 13 grade onesbasically - the MERV 8 filters are the material costcomponent of this head of the BOQ.

3.13 HUMIDITY CONTROL3.13.1 For all areas cooled by AHUs - it is desirable to add

some minimal reheat for RH control to compensatefor lack of internal load at part load conditions. Eachset of heaters will be complete on a factory madeepoxy painted MS angle iron frame (to be mounted inthe AHU) – each set will be powered thro' a 3Ø / 4wire 16A contractor.
