Something Fun – Quiz Night: Organise a Quiz Night for you and your family for the weekend. You will be doing all the planning and organising from finding a time to suit everyone, creating the questions, working out the scoring system,

advertising the quiz, and maybe even organising a prize for the winner. I will post the daily tasks on twitter.

Quiz Night- Step 1

● Decide where, when and what time you are going to have your quiz

➔ Remember it needs to be a time that suits everyone best.

➔ People will need something to write with and lean on.

➔ Is it going to be on the kitchen table, in the garden or your bedroom? You decide where’s best

Quiz Night - Step 2

● Create a set of questions: One idea is to choose 10 questions that would give you personal information about your family (e.g. What is my favourite colour?) and you have to guess the correct answer for each family member. Another idea is that each family member creates their own 10 questions to ask during their turn at being quiz master.

● Or you could go for general knowledge, movie themed, countries, sport related … it’s up to you!!

Quiz Night- Step 3

● Create a set of rules for the quiz and write them down. You might also want to include which person is going to be the quiz master first!

● Decide how you are going to score the answers. Will there be half marks? Will everyone score their own sheets?

Quiz Night - Step 4

● Organise pens and paper for each family member to use. If you are not using a table they’ll need something to lean on too.

● Make a colourful poster advertising your quiz. Remember to write down the day, time and location.

Quiz Night - Step 5

● Complete the following On the night of the quiz...

● Prepare some special snacks for the quiz.

● Prepare the room. You might want to have some music in the background.

Quiz Night - Step 6

● Make sure everyone has a snack.● Organise a prize ( Maybe a certificate

or to make the winners favourite meal).

● HAVE FUN!
