pabulum design llc is a full service design studio specializing in environmental graphic design and wayfinding development for retail, hospitality, entertainment, urban planning, residential and commercial offices. we have strong roots in traditional graphic, branding and strategy design and offer turn-key services, managing the design process from concept to realization.

daniel starr founded pabulum design llc in 2008 and has contracted with new york city-based architectural powerhouse, skidmore, owings & merrill, llp to work on high profile projects in manhattan, greenwich, ct, syracuse, ny, & kuwait. additionally, pabulum has collaborated with ribbit, inc., to design and develop comprehensive sign packages for starwood’s w hotels in times square, nyc; buckhead, atlanta; and also for the riviera resort & spa, a $70 million renovation of a 1950’s hollywood glamour era vacation destination in palm springs, ca. pabulum also con-tinues to design education guides, packaging & visual merchan-dising for cosmetic companies such as, lancôme, aramis, tommy hilfiger, michael kors, lab series, cashmere mist, dkny, elizabeth arden, diesel & juicy couture; and is frequently contracted as a design consultant to action sports companies such as fuji bicycles, storck bicycles & hawley manufacturing.

prior to establishing pabulum, daniel starr was the in-house senior environmental graphic designer with town sports interna-tional (tsi), where he was responsible for implementing the new york sports clubs brand into all new and newly remodelled retail locations. daniel starr boasts ten years experience in graphic design and a master’s degree in design management, ensuring the highest level of attention to all projects.
